  • Carter will connect with Ben. However, she is ready to cut ties with Lori and move on with her life.[33]
  • Elizabeth will not rehash the fact that David slept with Lori, but she will have some thoughts about what he should do about the new circumstances, and she will be resentful about some things.[34]
  • Carter will drop out of school and find a job as a bartender, wherein she will begin to see the situation from a different angle. Her world will be thrown upside down, and she will be caught between staying with the person she thought was her mother and going to her real family. Carter will be involved with "a racy, underground party circuit".[34]
  • Sparks will fly between Carter and Jared.[28]
  • Season 2B will pick up where 2A left off.[34]
  • 2B's sypnosis is as followed:

As Carter gets to know the mysterious brother she never knew she had, she also must figure out where she really belongs. She ultimately decides to drop out of school to find her own path and lies her way into a job as a bartender, where she finds herself in a whole new light. She'll introduce her inner circle to a racy, underground party circuit. Her new, fast lifestyle is the perfect replacement for the tedium of high school, until it speeds out of her control… and she needs her family more than ever."[35]
